The rooms at The Tourmaline were spacious, clean, and had stunning views of the hills. Housekeeping was attentive, and there was a great selection of free DVDs. The location was perfect.

The way to the hotel is not good, the road is narrow and not safe enough specially at night. A;so one problem we faced in checking out that the exchange rate of the hotel is different than what we get in Booked.net ( our total stay was 487$ and they wanted 526$ ). They count the total stay in LKR and then exchange it to US dollars on thier rates.

Stuff GREAT, nothing too much trouble. 10 minutes walk from the hotel to kandy clock tower.

The staff tried hard to please us, and attempted to provide 4-5 star service. The bed turn down service was a nice touch, and the rooms are tastefully decorated and modern. Bathrooms look clean and more than 

The hotel's panoramic views of the surrounding hills were truly breathtaking. It felt like being on top of the world, with stunning vistas that made me forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was in a secluded area with stunning views of the surrounding dark mountains. The hotel facilities were excellent, with spacious and clean rooms, and a great breakfast selection made to order. Parking and 

The stunning views from the room were amazing, and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. The pool was great, and the surrounding area was perfect for a romantic escape.

The food was a major letdown and the staff were not very helpful with any of our queries. The location was too far from town, which made it difficult to find places to eat that were closer by.

From the friendliness of the staff to their beautiful facility, it is a perfect quiet tranquil getaway.

The friendliness of staff at reception and the efficiency with the way the checking in was handled. The house keeping staff very efficient too.

The service received in the restaurant in spite of hardly any customers in the restaurants the staff were not very informative and did not bother to tell us that the sorbet was not available which was on the set menu and did not ask what we wanted for the dessert. Water glasses were not refilled.

We had a wonderful time at this luxurious hotel. It is located on a hillside in a tranquil location with stunning views. The hotel staff provided exceptional service, from the room service to the car hire. They were always respectful and

Dirty room and bedbugs. Mattresses on the beds were old and really filthy. Our driver also had bedbugs in his quarters. Sheets were not changed the whole 5 nights holiday. No lift to 3rd floor, so disabled people will have problems staying there as well as elderly people for climbing stairs. There were ants by the minibar fridge. To use spa, pool or restaurant facilities you need to climb more stairs outside. Restaurant food was average and our order was not served correctly as described on the menu (they served us chips instead of mashed potatoes by mistake).

The room was comfortable and nicely arranged, and clean.

Nothing much for fun, specially for kids around age 10 to 15, other than the pool, and it didn't had a lunch buffet on Saturday and had to go to next hotel.

This hotel is situated on a hillside in a tranquil location with stunning views of the mountains. It's close enough to Kandy's main sights but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The rooms are spacious
